Keisha has been awarded artist of the year Lancaster County Magazine (2021), Susquehanna Style’s Women of Strength Nominee (2020), Lancaster Equity Fund grant recipient (2021); allowing her to curate Lancaster’s first BIPOC Gallery Row Exhibition during Spring ArtWalk 2023, YWCA Black Artist Waystation (2023). Her work can be viewed on many different scales from canvas’, musical instruments, restaurants, hospitals to large scale murals around Lancaster.

I am a local self-taught artist from Lancaster. I can remember my very first art class in kindergarten that sparked my love for art. Throughout grade school I always gravitated toward anything relating to art but I never recall meeting a local artist or even learning about artists who looked like me. Having worked with organizations in the past I can see the difference it’s made to children in the community and even my own family. At this point in my career, a goal of mine is to be the representation to children in the community that I once needed.
