About the Artist: Alex, also known as Worldwide Wednesday, is a Lancaster-based singer and songwriter who believes their purpose in life is to use their art form to push and remind others to be the best versions of themselves, knock down barriers and foster a community through music.
Alex is a member of our Hip Hop Arts & Education team and has been a part of multiple community music festivals, from performing at Health Equity Music Fest to producing and curating his own festival “Give Back Music Fest” for Extra Give Lancaster. In addition, Alexander volunteers his time at Tru2You and The Mix Lancaster to provide creative opportunities to younger children.
It was his work at The Mix Lancaster that ignited Alexander’s passion for teaching. He saw how important it was for children to have positive experiences that can guide them in the right direction, and now he is doing just that.
