About the Artist: I am a teaching artist because I live for the joy of sharing my craft, helping others know that they, too, have gifts to foster. Even on days when it’s hard, artists can never truly abandon their art because it’s a life force. Watching my students rise, create, and grow is the best thing of all best things. Making sure they understand the sacrifice, time, and commitment involved is necessary; ensuring that they can walk through the world as artists is the grace I want to pay forward.
