South Central PaARTners, part of the Arts for All community arts initiative at Millersville University, strives to deliver outstanding arts in education programming to Lancaster, Berks, and Schuylkill Counties in order to improve the education, well-being, and outcomes for the children and adults we serve. We believe that art opens the doors to understanding within and between people. We are committed to celebrating the diverse people in our region, amplifying the voices of those silenced by discrimination, and using arts education as a vehicle for liberation and equality.
A partnership between the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and Millersville University, we place skilled teaching artists in meaningful, in-depth residencies in K-12 public schools, senior centers, and other community organizations. Our residents hail from a variety of backgrounds and include writers, dancers, theater practitioners, musicians, storytellers, painters, sculptors, book artists, and more.
